I suggest you ...

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

If a similar idea already exists, you can support and comment on it.

If it doesn't exist, you can post your idea so others can support it.

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

  1. Drop a tag after expiration

Hi, I would love to see that the plugin can delete a tag from a post after expiration.

  4. Add custom post types as expiration option

    I love your plugin, Aaron!

I was wondering if you could add filter to target specific custom post types. I'd like to add an amount of time for auto-expiring posts, but only for a specific custom post type.

  5. Exclude Specific Posts from being Expired

Be able to specify posts that will not be expired and categories in which those posts are excluded from being expired.

  6. EXPIRED to post title or first paragraph & list of recent posts

Could we have the option for the plugin to add the word EXPIRED (or whichever word the user chooses) to the top of the post or to the post title once the expiration date has passed?

It would also be nice to have the option of adding a short list of the most recent posts.

That way, if readers happen upon an older post, they could see that it had expired and that there is newer content for them to explore.

Thanks so much for this valuable plugin!

  7. Multiple category types

Post expirator doesn't support multiple category types, and doesn't work if I want to expire a portfolio or a gallery item.

  8. Schedule multiple events

Multiple events of expiry would be wonderful. Unsticky on date x, change categories on date y, and trash on date z.

  9. Set specific category(-ies) to Delete or Private automatically after a set number of days / weeks

My site content is created by frontend users and all posts under one specific category must disappear ( either be deleted or changed to private) automatically after reaching a set number of days (or weeks). The current settings of the plugin cannot do that. Can we add this feature please? And if we can, it would be ideal to allow us to select any (multiple) categories to disappear after the pre-ste time frame. Thank you.

  11. To include woo commerce product category when product expires

To include woo commerce product category when a product expires. The woo commerce product categories do not show and thus the change category do not function.

  12. Move "Default Expiration Category" to defaults page

Currently the "Default Expiration Category" option is on the main settings page, and applies to all post types. This option should be moved to the defaults page so it can be set on a per post type basis.
